Ingredients

  • 10 oz Red Wine, dry or semi dry Merlot or Cabernet Sauvignon
  • 1/4 t Truvia, ganulated
  • 1/8 t Cinnamon
  • 1/4 t Ginger
  • 1 t Orange Zest (about half an orange)

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients except the orange zest into a pot.
  • Heat the pot on a medium to medium high heat. You want the liquid to simmer, not boil.
  • Cook for 20 minutes or until you can no longer smell or taste the alcohol.
  • For the best pop of flavor, add the orange zest at the end. Best served warm but also good cold.

Notes

Equipment: Pot, Zester.
