Remove the avocado shell and seed and place the avocado in the blender.
Add all other ingredients except the salt and blend well.Add 1 tablespoon of water at a time for a thinner consistency, or lime juice if you don't mind it being tangier.
Add a small pinch of salt if desired.

Makes 1 cup. Each serving size is 2 tablespoons.The poblano pepper is optional but highly recommended. Remove the seeds before adding it. It's best to use a food processor to really break down the chunks, but if you don't have a food processor you can coat the pepper with oil and roast it at 425° for 20 to 25 minutes or until fork tender. After roasting, the blender can easily incorporate it without any chunks.Full fat Greek yogurt is OK to use if you're not concerned with fat consumption.
